Help Force vs. Water Vikings

The Help Force-Water Viking battle is set to be one of the most hotly anticipated battles of the first round. The Water Vikings have seen an unprecedented rise in recent weeks, shooting up to the top half of the Top Ten and consistently achieving high peak sizes at their events. On the other hand, the Helpers have witnessed a string of successful practice battles and particularly successful ‘AUSIA’ division events. But how will their UK/US division fare against the Vikings? The staff prediction is in favour of the Force, but will it be plain sailing? Who will steal the victory and advance into the second round?

Max, Executive Producer: Water Vikings

Cassie, Vice President: Help Force

Sophie, Editor-in-Chief: Help Force

Mehakk, Editor-in-Chief: Help Force

Pizza Federation vs. Golden Troops

The Pizza Federation enter this tournament with two of the previous small-medium tournament victories under their belt. They recently placed seventh on the official small-medium Top Ten rankings, but the Golden Troops were two positions above them, at fifth. They may have the Challengers Cup and Beach Brawl trophies, but will the Fright or Fight be joining the Chefs collection?

Army of Club Penguin vs. Army of the Orient Seas

The Army of the Orient Seas were thrilled to recently move into the Army Hub’s ‘major army’ classification, and will therefore be pit against the Army of Club Penguin in the first round. Despite the staff prediction indicating a Clover victory, the Army of the Orient Seas will no doubt be hoping to pull an upset against their close allies. But will their waves manage to make impact? Or could they be lost at sea?

Red Ravagers vs. Crimson Guardians

Another seemingly close battle will see the Red Ravagers and Crimson Guardians go head-to-head. The Ravagers topped the small-medium rankings last weekend and are a potential favourite for the small-medium tournament victory – but will they hold nerve? The Crimson Guardians may have ranked tenth recently, but are well known for tournament success. Could we see their biggest victory since defeating the Pirates in the Legends Cup X?

With the first day of round one battles taking place later today, there is no doubt this tournament is going to be a huge happening in the army community. But which of the staff got it right? And what do you think?
