Lights out for Pizza Federation, Kehato Promoted to Leader

ABOMINABLE, Pizza Federation Empire – After many hard months of work in the army scheme, Lightningmcj has stepped down from the Pizza Federation’s leadership. After his retirement, he promoted Kehato to leadership. What led to these shocking leadership changes?

Lightningmcj first joined the army community in early May, being recruited into the Recon Federation. However, when the army fell into isolation, Light left the Recon Federation and joined the Pizza Federation where he has been ever since. Alongside being in the Federation, Light also dual enlisted in the Army of Club Penguin in order to get the experience of a major army and to take part in their famous Training Regiment. Light earned the achievement of S/M Legend earlier this year for breaking the Pizza Federation’s max records and leading the Small-Medium Army Union.

However, after months of hard work, Light has decided to step down. On January 4th, Light officially announced his retirement from the Pizza Federation leadership and the community altogether in a post on the Federation’s website found here.

Shortly after announcing his retirement, Light promoted Kehato to the Federation’s leadership. After months of hard work, Light believed that Kehato would be a perfect fit for leadership. Kehato found her way to the Pizza Federation on April 17th. The day after joining, she briefly joined the Army of Club Penguin before rejoining the Federation.

CP Army Hub staff were able to reach out to Lightningmcj for an exclusive interview regarding his retirement from leadership.

What was the reason for your retirement?

To be honest, CPA had become a little monotonous and somewhat of a chore and I think anyone who’s been around for very long knows that it gets like that. I also feel like it’s the best choice for me mentally because I feel I’ve been spending an unhealthy amount of time on Discord and dealing with CPA. I’ve been thinking about it for a while and I feel like PZF is equipped to survive without me.

Will you ever return to the Pizza Federation leadership?

I wouldn’t totally rule it out but it’s not in my plans right now. I don’t intend on returning but who knows.

How do you think the Pizza Federation will fare without your leadership?

I think they’ll do fine. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little worried, but I’m hoping they’ll be able to pick up the slack and maintain our success. I’ll still be around in a minor role to help where it’s needed. Overall, though, what matters most to me is that we’re succeeding as a community in making people feel valued and welcome, and I have full confidence that they’ll be able to do that.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Yeah, just that I’m excited to see how our new leader Kehato does because she’s been working for this for a long time.

After months of hard work dedicated to the community, Light came to the decision to retire from the community. Light has left the Pizza Federation in capable hands with Kehato, Alex, and Retro. With this confusing era without Flash, it begs the question, how will the Federation bear with Light’s retirement?
